Hatha Yoga Live on Zoom with Mani Raman

Whether you’re an intermediate or an advanced practitioner, Yoga Vana Open Class sequences are creatively designed based on the classical yoga teachings and incorporate warm-ups, asanas, breath awareness and relaxation.

Each class has a series of classic poses where we hold the asanas for several breaths, delving deeper, moving from one asana to another asana with right relaxation.

You work at your own pace, following the teacher’s verbal guidance, and options will be provided for intermediate and advanced students. It is ideal for practitioners seeking a flowing sequences, alignment exploration, relaxation, meditation and a deeper but restorative practice.

The practice offers the application of yogic theory in practice in a way that's relevant to one’s life on and off the mat while you are transforming your body, breath and mind as a spiritual Sadhana, and not just as an exercise.

Yoga Nidra is the art of relaxation. It is also a technique of pratyahara – the sense withdrawal. Many challenging yoga poses, pranayama and meditation practice can be resolved by consciously relaxing our subconscious and unconscious pattern of our body, emotions thoughts and deeper layers of our mind.

Advancing in yoga practice becomes possible by properly practicing yoga nidra and applying the right sankalpa – positive affirmations and cognitive understanding.

This is an easy and practical meditation technique which can help eliminate any deep rooted negative habits and patterns from our subconscious mind. Can be used to plant the seeds of positivity and any new positive habit into our subconscious mind to achieve a better and happier life.
