While contemporary in application and language, our teachings are based on the thousands of years old Vedic and Yogic tradition.

Our Teachers

The source of our practice and teachings is Swami Sivananda Saraswati and his disciple, Swami Vishnudevananda Saraswati.

Yoga of Synthesis

At Yoga Vana, we practice and teach Swami Sivananda’s Yoga of Synthesis, aiming at the harmonious development of a human being through the practice of all four paths of Yoga: Raja Yoga (body & mind), Bhakti Yoga (heart & emotions), Jnana Yoga (intellect) and Karma Yoga (hand).

Yoga must educate and develop the whole man - his heart, intellect and hand. Then only he will have integral development.
