To become wider and deeper and more inclusive in one’s being and consciousness is the aim of Yoga and this is the goal of human life.
— Swami Sivananda

Yoga Teacher Training

A transformative experience, our Yoga Vana Teacher Training Courses allow you to take your personal practice to a deeper and more meaningful level, while learning the skills it takes to share the yogic tools with others.

With a strong focus on empowering you individually to be the teacher you are called to be, our Teacher Training Courses are a unique combination of traditional teachings with modern methods and techniques - for you to confidently and effectively share yoga with the world.

Yoga Retreats

Our retreats, held in peaceful, natural environments, offer you the chance to consciously take time off your daily life and be yourself.

Some of the programs are specifically designed to integrate yoga into a holiday or vacation. Others are more specific, covering areas of special interest and training. These present ideal opportunities for intensive study, to practice more deeply, learn more, or sometimes even to begin the practice of yoga in a focused and wholesome way.

Building on the yogic principle of ahimsa (non-violence), our activities equip you with communication tools and practices to bring clarity and peace to your emotional life as well as to your personal and professional interactions with others.

Conscious Communication

Our Yoga Vana Teacher Training Course syllabus includes a unique Emotional Intelligence module to empower you to be a compassionate and effective guide to your students, and befriend your own emotional journey of growing into the role of a teacher and guide.

The module contains exercises in deep listening and introduces you to the communication principles and process of Non Violent Communication based on the work of Marshall B. Rosenberg and the Centre for Nonviolent Communication.

At Home Within

We offer one-on-one virtual coaching, supporting you to come home to yourself.

Nature & Self

To forget how to dig the earth and to tend the soil is to forget ourselves.
— Mahatma Gandhi

As an intuitive form of yogic practice off the mat, spending time in Nature - just observing and noticing what is - slows down the thought process, brings about a multitude of proven mental and physical health benefits and develops sensitivity and aliveness.

Our Yoga Vana Teacher Training Courses contain a daily component of nature contemplation - entering into the inner landscapes through the conscious experience of the outer.
